He was born in Bologna on May 1973.
From the age of 14 he studied guitar in classic, rock, jazz and progressive styles.
His main influences can be identifyed in Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani e John Petrucci.
Musically more eclectic, he introduce in his own composition element from classical music and Jazz, in reference to Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven e Wes Montgomery.
The need for songwriting comes out since first study years, flowing into AntarticA project, idea that join different kind of musicians to record Demos and playing Live.
Nowday flank to his main activity of guitar player also the composition of instrumental music for theatrical show and sound track.

Nasce a Bologna nel maggio del 1973.
Dall'età di 14 anni studia chitarra classica e moderna negli stili rock, jazz e progressive.
Le sue principali influenze chitarristiche si identificano in Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani e John Petrucci.
Musicalmente più eclettico, introduce nelle proprie composizioni elementi che provengono dalla musica classica sinfonica e da quella Jazz, con particolare riferimento a Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven e Wes Montgomery.
La necessità di comporre si manifesta sin dai primi anni di studio fino a sfociare nel progetto AntarticA, idea che nasce con lo scopo di riunire musicisti di diverse provenienze per la realizzazione di Demo o performance Live.
Attualmente affianca alla sua attività di esecutore la composizione di musica strumentale per spettacoli teatrali e colonne sonore.

This project started in 2005, before Vampire became so commercial, but we finished it only in the end of 2009 because of Alex's solo music business. The BALLADE OF THE VAMPIRES is made by five songs and it's a rock progressive with melodic, flamenco, pop and latin influence. You can find some rock songs and some very melodical songs into our project.

Questo progetto è iniziato nel 2005, prima che i Vampiri diventassero così commerciali come ora, ma è stato terminato solo sul finire del 2009 a causa di impegni musicali solisti di Alex. Ma ora puoi vedere e sentire (puoi leggere i testi per capire meglio la storia). Buon divertimento e mi raccomando, fai attenzione ai Vampiri...

BALLADE OF THE VAMPIRES è composta da cinque brani musicali (canzoni) ed è rock progressive con influenze melodiche, di flamenco, di musica pop e latina. Puoi trovare alcune canzoni veramente rock e altre molto melodiche.
